Hi I RECENTLY PURCHASED A DREAMBOX 800 HD SE, I,m new to all this any tips on best way to get as mush as I can viewing wise from my receiver... thanks
 
Look in the Dreambox section mate it's the best way to start. You can't just snap your finger to familiarize yourself with a dreambox! It needs time.
 
I realise it will not be easy, thanks for the heads up on where to start..
 
You can download complete channel lists to save you from having to tune in channels. If you search for "catseye e2 settings" you'll find some good lists. You'll also need a bit of software called dreamboxedit to load the channel lists into the dreambox. Again you'll easily find it on google. That should make things much easier for you.

Thanks hixxy1, got a pdf file with a tutorial on how to set channel list, bouquets and set up the 7 day tv guide... add ccams etc.. very interesting
 
It's a steep learning curve but you'll get there in the end. I use crossepg for the 7 day listings with the open epg option ticked for 28.2e.
