Turksat Eastbeam 42e,what dishsize,is needed,in difrent parts of europe?

Hello!
today,i am looking for a singal report,all across europe,what dish size,is needed,to get,all eastbeam turkey,transponders?
some,are very very ,weak,espasely,the scpc transponders!

sometimes,i can get mtv turkey,with 1,20 cm ,dish,my bigger dishes,are finaly not set up ,to this satelite,but ,i will do,very soon!

also,i heard,the roumer,that,people,living,in turkey,also have problems,to reveice ,all east beam channels

can anyone,confirm this?


now,an overview would be good,what are the strongest transponders,signal,is very difrent,in nighttime,is it stronger,then on day time,when ,my dish,is finaly installed,i will ,add,my signal ,report to this posting!

in the meantime,i hope,to get,some signal reports!

According to lyngsat you will struggle to get a signal in most of Europe from the East beam, is this the sort of map you were looking for? Of course like any theoretical data the practice is what counts but I doubt you will get many replies

Turok in your case i would start reading the italian board which has some reports about the 2 East beams of which of course the 1C is the weaker one but not so pessimistic in real as in the theoretical footprint shown. What makes difficult to receive them is not only the low signal but the narrow bandwidth (SCPCs) with high FEC. I am sure some frequencies can be gotten in Benelux and France with large dishes (>3m) but indeed you must be very lucky to let somebody find this thread. In Vienna as you might also know a 1.20m gets all, some on the limit. But westwards the signal is falling rapidly. I remember somewhere having read that in Munich a 2.40m gets them also all.

in the last view days,new eastbeam transpoders,has been aktivated!,iam looking forward,to bring,a report,of the eastbeam soon,hope,also i reveive all,of not,we must move to,turkey,how good,is the signal,of the turkey eastbeam in greece?

i read,reports,from turkey,that is also,there,notposible,with 1,50m dish,to reseive all transponders,some of them,are only,for use by cable operators,maybe,this is the reason,they sending,in scpc signals and 5/6 7/8,they dont want,that the public,will see their channels,i think!

The italian board which i mean is the home of some well known DXers like MEGADISH and many more in the North and South. I won't post the link here since it will most probably be removed.

The 42E East Beam is well received in Greece with 1m, but the weaker ones struggle also on 1.20m, especially in western parts of the country. I cannot believe that in Turkey even 1.50m don't get all the frequencies. Their problem is either misalignment or bad surface quality so that this dish doesn't perform as good as it should. It's also possible that the data have changed and the receiver wasn't updated.
