Turn of the year analogue channel losses

KoS are reporting 2 channel closures so far:

# (00h20) Astro TV has left 10714.25MHz, pol.H (PAL)
# (00h19) Neun Live has left 10935.50MHz, pol.V (PAL)

Signals were almost certainly cut at 2300 uk time.


Sixx should take over the Astro time slot.

Edit: Didnt also the TP 11127 V switch off? VIVA moved to the MTV Transponder 11612 H !

Yup - MTV has gone pay and all fta versions both analogue & digital have been removed

According to KoS its gone - Viva took over their frequency. However I cant check for certain - I connected the Echostar digital/analogue box up again on Dec 30th after a period disconnected and although I could get 13E working I couldnt get anything at all off 19E. I need to tinker with it when Ive got a quiet weekend!

Here's a screenshot of the PAL channel presently on TP 11611.75 taken off my Echostar. I presume it's Viva, but has 'Jackass' showing at present.

According to Flysat, Canal+ France is back on this frequency - encrypted in Nagravision.

According to the german Infosat _http://www.infosat.de/Meldungen/?msgID=61679 the french analogue channels Arte, France 2, France 3, France 5, M6 und TF1 will shut down at 5° West ab3 in the end of November 2011!

Yes that would be about right - they feed the analogue tv transmitter network and its expected to be shut down at the end of November.
