tuvision and mtuvision

hi,

finally managed to get a picture through tuvision today on my laptop, but cannot get mtuvision working...?

is there a major advantage in using the mtuvision, ie is it worth carring on trying to get it working or should i just stick with tuvision??

also, sure i`ve read somewhere about changing channels through lan/laptop? can this be done?

Channel change can be done using gemini tv in gemini manager for the gemini image. Mtuxvision also supposed to do it, tuxvision not. Regards, pcd.

cheers for the reply, only problem now is tuxvision dont work now

when it starts it has a green screen, then slowly starts a real bitty picture and then video data goes back down to zero and stops!!! tried everything (installing, reinstalling changing settings but still no good)..maybe a setting is wrong now in the dreambox expert menu but tried them all still no show!!

hi,

just for the record.. 99 percent solved this by just re-booting the dreambox, worked fine then, except the audio stream is low and it stops and starts in preview, the strange thing is the recorded version is ok when its played back.

....and channel changing through laptop sorted as sticky thread by inserting ip address in internet explorer address..

finally so far so good..next project is the flashing of an image....
