tv from portugal in uk, please help

Hi there,

A customer has requested a price from me,r.e tv from portugal. After scanning the channel listings in "what satellite" magazine i have found that 30W seems to best place although all the content seems to be encrypted, anyone have any idea what box will i need or if any of these channels are subscription based. Any responses will be very appriciated.

Most of the Porto channels are indeed encrypted.

Portuguese pay tv is very difficult to to get without a Portuguese address to have it registered at.
 
I think the customer may be able to use a realatives address in portugal but not entirely sure if she wants to subscibe or just receive FTA, do you know if many of the channels at 30W are FTA and what box would be required?

There are 102 fta channels at 30W going by lyngsat, dont know how many are Portuguese though

I think you need the TV Cabo / Zon TV (or whatever its called these days) receiver.

Very little fta stuff from Portugal these days - RTP International and a few religious channels are about the limit.
