I am looking for the tv program guide for
canal+ 1 and canal+ 2
i know of www.csatelite.es and www.cinecinemas.com
but i have had no luck finding this info.
csatelite.es has canal+ etc but not canal+ 1 & 2
can anyone help me with a web address?

Do you mean Canal+1and2 NL? You can use Teletext on your TV for programme listings which are in Dutch, as are the listings on Sat Europa.
 
The channels i am talking of are canal + 1 & canal + 2 on astra 19.2 east on transponder 105. 12515 mhz,22000, horozontal.
Dont know if its NL but i think it may be a spanish channel, it shows mostly films in english with foreign subtitles.
what is sat europa? I know i cant get these listings on uk teletext services and my pc sat card does not have teletext capabilities so the only way i can know is when they occasionaly put up a list of programs coming up within the next 2 or 3 hours but not enough time for me to plan ahead my tv viewing.
 
That is Canal+ Netherland. If you have teletext on your TV then you can get the listings which are on pages 101 and 102 for Canal+ 1&2 respectively. You need to be on either Canal+ 1 or 2
and then go to teletext on your tv. It works for me so I can't see how it won't work for you. You can also get the listings for the full week ahead and page 103 will give you the pages for each day.

Go to: http://www.canalplus.nl/Index.asp

From the top menu click on Gids/Programma Overzicht or just straight to Gids/Film Overzicht.

Also for the french channels the best film resource is

From the Combo box on the right just select Tous Les Films.
To know the English title of a film just click on its French title.

It takes 30mn of daily surfing to get an idea on the programmes I will watch each evening.

It would be nice to have a site that just includes all channels. Eurotv is trying but still has a way to go.

I already new of the canalplus.nl site but just couldnt remember the url when posting here at the time.
I can seem to get it to show the days tv listings for canal +1,
canal+2 and +16/9 but how do i find out the viewing for the week?
I mainly only want to know of canal 16/9.
I tried altavistas babelfish to translate but it wasnt much good.
It says top right of page selecteer: z z m d w d v
i thought it was the days of the week, monday, tuesday etc but not sure. Any ideas?? as i like to plan my viewing a few days in advance but canal 16/9 is the one thats causing the most problems.

m=maandag=monday
d=dinsdag=tuesday
w=woensdag=wednesday
d=donderdag=thursday
v=vrijdag=friday

But don't use that.
Use the other menu (gids, film, sport, canal+)
Choose gids (= guide)
then film-overzicht (= film overview)

This presents for all three main channels a week's overview of films. And since that's all there is on C+16:9, this satisfies your requiement.

altavistas babelfish does not have a dutch translation that i know of for your last line comment in dutch but it translates very similar in german :)

PS The brackets are Square in the Translation, but this site hides things in Square Brackets.
 
a furthur question on tv listings,last football season Ned 2 (Astra 19.2)showed Champions League matches but according to latest channel guide it dosn`t appear to be doing so as yet,matches on Wed. 15th Aug i`m looking for, especially Celtic v Ajax anyone know if this match is televised ,thanks Captainjim

Thanks for the listings BUT...

Apart from quite a lot not working, there is a serious problem with:

http://ppvnow.scene.as/

When you access this page you are asked to download a programme to obtain access 'to the files'.

This programme is called enter.exe

Whatever you do DONT RUN IT.

It will disconnect you and start to dial you into another number.

I didn't hang around to find out what the number is, I just turned he PC Off, but my guess is that it would be some sort of premium 'fone number that could cost you a packet.
