My Satellite Setup
I have a Polesat dish connected to a TV Star S-1000 FTA receiver
My Location
Ipswich, Suffolk, UK
In the Menu , Satellite setup or something similar .. Transponder edit .

Put a photo up with the receiver Menu page and will point you in the right direction .

These are each of the menu screens. I am considering getting a motor for this satellite, but will obvious;y still need the understanding of tuning into satellites and the meanings of all the fields that can be set up.

I truly appreciate all this help guys. As a stroke survivor, your assistance is invaluable. Thank you all.

One last thing, can I donate via PayPal?

Hi Kelvin, the pid search is I presume used for searching for a specific chgannel which cannot be found using normal search.

When you have your motor installed, you can then do an NIT search and that should bring up most of the channels available on each required satellite, I tend to do one at a time when setting up a new installation. :)

Looking again I'm saying its not the Lidl Silvercrest GUI (Graphical User Interface) but its a look alike though. Will did mine out though, I remember the Silvercrest had sats 19E,28E,42E,13E,16E,0.8W,5W,30W pre stored in it and had a 4000 channel memory all in maximum.
