I need some help. Can anyone please tell on what satellite can I find "TV Verdade" channel. It is a religious channel that runs 24/7. It is FTA and can be watched in South America, Central America and Europe. Thanks!
 
Cant find any satellites listed for it yet - but if its broadcasting to the Americas you wont be able to watch in the Phillipines.
 
Thanks Analoguesat. I also searched google and lyngsat but I can't find it. It's on test broadcast right now. I know it's broadcasting somewhere in South America. I just need to know the satellite provider of this TV channel. Maybe, it's included in an MCPC platform. They told me that it can be watched in Europe via Sky.
 
They are wrong - its not being broadcast via satellite anywhere in Europe as far as I can tell. Its certainly not on the Sky UK platform :D

TV VERDADE is on THAICOM 5 satellite which covers Africa, Australia, Asia and Europe. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you so much. I'll try to receive the TV Verdade channel here in the Philippines from Thaicom 5. :) Can you receive it clearly in Thailand?
 
Can anyone receive a new FTA channel in SES-5? It is an English channel but I don't know the exact name. Perhaps it is TV Verdade in English. And it started last April 1, 2013.
 
Might be on the Africa beam - if so you will be lucky to get a reply as we dont have many members there.

Ah I see, I remember now... My friend told me last week that the channel would be in Ku-band. I hope someone from Africa here can help in checking it. Thanks Analoguesat. :)
 
This is a correction:
Please check if you can receive two channels in SES-4 namely Truth TV and TV Verdade in MCPC platform with downlink parameters:
Frequency - 3941 MHz
Symbol rate - 3200 Ksps
Polarity - Left
MPEG-4/DVB-S2
 
Give it a few days - hopefuilly one of our members set up for C-band will have a look for you.
 
Now that's a coincidence, I was about to post these into Pride's thread about 22W having found them yesterday. Signal is 8.4dB SNR on a 1.8m.
