Twin or Single Output Invacom LNB

My Satellite Setup
Pace 2200 Sky Digital Box, cheapo LNB0.3db,
80cm offset dish in Germany.
1.35m Offset Dish, Pace 2600 Sky Digi Box. Invacom Twin LNB. In Spain.
My Location
Benicasim, Spain
An installer down here in spain, says that its best to use a dual Invacom LNB as opposed to a dual. He said that they work better.... Is this true? or would a single output produce as good results?

Hello John!

I have several Invacom LNB's and it does not seem to matter how many outputs they have, it's more to do with the Noise level. They are 0.3dB

I LOVE Invacom LNB's, they must be the BEST LNB's I have ever used here in the USA, and they are made in the UK :)

If you only plan to use one receiver go with the single output version!

I use the SNH-031 pictured below on my 90ch HotDish

My Dual Invacom turned out cheaper bought from the states funnily enough, even if I had paid import duty, I was uncharged so got it for a right steal with no US sales tax either :D
 
I imported a dual Invacom and channel master feedhorn from the states, i was unlucky though and was charged the import duty.It was still cheaper than if i had bought from over here.The thing that pissed me off though was having to pay another delivery charge.Very happy with them by the way.
 
One of the best things about Invacom is the clear (Almost) LNB cover, this REALLY helps with Ku Band signals, resulting in +5 signal level! I have done a few tests with LNB covers here in the US of A

I've had a Invacom LNB's orangey cover get damaged and get blown away over time, the LNB still worked, it's now been replaced with another Invacom and dish placed elsewhere, but its put aside with new clear similar type plastic where the orange stuff was, and I believe will still work if ever needed!
