Two Dreamboxes, Two Remotes

My Satellite Setup
2 x DM800HD (Genuine in UK, Clone in SA); Virus-free, open source Linux (openSuSE 12.3 and Ubuntu 13.04) PCs (home and office).
My Location
South Africa (and UK)
I have a DM800 and now wish to add a second DM800. Both units will be located side by side.

I believe I might have a problem with controlling each unit individually, as using a Remote will result in BOTH DM800's responding.

Anyone know if there's a way around this problem?

Don't know if this applies to DM800 but Enigma1 boxes can be controlled through their web interfaces using a pc or pda.

I don't think it can be done,
To my knowledge all DM's Clones and Originals from
500 to 800 and all in between have the same frequency (500 uses different buttons though) (also don't have a 8000 yet to test)
but you can't use 2 remotes as changing chan on DM800(1) will also change chan on DM800(2)

I have two boxes a 7020 and a 800 side by side and I use the 800 as my main box and the 7020 to share from.

I use a small piece of black tape over the 7020 remote sensor and swap it over to the 800 if I want to control the other box.

Hope its help.

PS if anyone has found a better way (from the sofa - not web menu's) then please also let me know.
