Don't think I'm giving much away here, but they're using what appears to be a most accessible CW - the compromised EBU BISS.

I have read all through this thread and looked at the German thread, and have received information overload. Could any of the more technical people on here post a step-by step guide of how to pull in these channels on Intelsat 907 TP 64 (11495 V 44100 9/10) please? Sorry if I am being thick. Thanks.

Oh I see. Sorry. These aren't subscription channels, so how is it hacking though?

Hi! For those who don't understand German, I'll try and translate the thread...
__

There's a new packet on 11494 V SR 44497 FEC ? DVB-S2
with:

1.BBC ???
2.BBC ???
3.BBC News
4.CBBC
5.CBEEBIES
6.BBC Sport
7.BBC Sport i
8. FIVE

at the moment it seems to be using BISS.

Can anyone lock onto this frequency?
I can't. I'm using a 85 cm dish.
__

Hello...

I have even tried all the DVB-S2 possibilites with an Octagon 918 HD;
unfortunately without success!
The Openbox shows one bar on the "False TP" display, a hint that something is there...

perhaps someone else will have more luck... winking
__

Grinning...

At my location:
and then I went into my dining room to my new C.T.5000 HD Combo plus, and entered the DVB-S-data (DVB-S2-data is no longer needed on this receiver !!)
And bingo! The signal was there and a blind mode search found the Intelsat 1/2/3/4/5/8/20/21 transponders
everything encrypted in an unknown format...

I have to thank my Combo once again; I hope that the Octagon was listening... A big smile

Greetings
__

What are the parameters at the moment? Is the 44497 SR value correct?
__

I cannot read the transponder data. I have tried all the possibilites QPSK 8PSK Pilot on/off all FECs
__

You should tell us which receiver you have, so that we have an overview of which receivers can lock-on and which ones can't...
Anyway the C.T. 5000 HD Combo plus can manage it...
__

Why don't you tell us the parameters that your receiver shows? Is the SR correct? The receiver will not show the FEC. It will at least show if the

transmission is QPSK or 8PSK
__

Let's go through everything again:
The first poster in this thread gave the rough frequency (DVB-S-data),
I also have the same problems with the Octagon as you and
in post 3 I said that the Combo plus could successfully read the DVB-S-data.
It did not need the FEC or the other DVB-S2-data at all...
and therefore it also could not display the data (that it no longer needed)...
If I have not given enough information... Sorry
__

It's a pity. But thank you, anyway.
__

Is this transponder still active? It is not listed on Flysat or Lyngsat.
__

Yes, it is still active. Yesterday, I found it using a blindscan with my CT 5000C plus, but unfortunately it did not give the exact reception parameters

precisely.
Unfortunately everything is encrypted.
__

Another piece of important news: the symbol rate is 39776
__

Whoever wants to watch RTE One FTA should checkout 11,541 GHz V - SR 3720 - FEC Auto... winking

pretty MPEG 4:2:0 winking
__

Sadly, the feed seems to have disappeared once again
On the Laminas 1200, the CT Combo+ only finds 11494 V 39776 ath the moment, however everything is encrypted. Five on 11665 V 13020 5/6 has gone as well...
__

On Thursday it was still transmitting!
__

For this reason it's showing Gaelic Football for the Irish channel TG 4 on the "KILS" transponder on 11550 v 7440 7/8 today.
__

Hi, now that I am online at home, I also want to report something
RTE News (perhaps Channel 1) currently transmitting ( 22:00 h MEZ / 21:00 h GMT) on

11542 V / 3720 FEC in "Auto" mode
it's 4:2:0 und 16:9

and the Channel 5 transmissions are also still there - with 51% Signal

At my location, RTE Feed (100cm) 30%

Greetings
Rainer
__

Hi,

At the moment, the testcard on 11543 V mit SR 3720 is active once again.
"IERTE-DBLN 1", perhaps something will be transmitted later, or perhaps something was transmitted earlier. Anyway in MPEG 4:2:0. Reception on a 80 cm dish

and CTCP [Signal strength?] 60 %.
Greetings

Zelda
__

It's always on air
__

Hi,

Something is happening again on 11543 V mit SR 3720, but in MPEG 4:2:2.
Greetings

Zelda

[The Poster] "Enosat" is reporting all BBC channels + BBC Radio on 27,5 W, 11495 V, 39777 Auto in DVB-S2/8PSK. Can anyone else receive them?

Humaxboy
__

13 BBC TV channels and 1 Radio ought to be receivable. Unfortunately, I can't see or hear anything. I'll keep an eye on it.
__

Hello, the transponder has been there since October/November last year. I also can't see or hear anything.

Greetings, Jens
__

Hi, I have a question - can anyone view these channels with his receiver?
BBC HD UK, ITV 1 HD, Channel 4 London on 11495 V 44100 9/10 in DVB-S2/QPSK MPEG-4/HD
ALthough I have a 90% Signal with my Openbox S7, I can't receive any of these channels!

Greetings
__

Hello,

I wanted to help you succeed, but I only know what you know, and my Smart MXo4 HDCA can't find any channels....... no no

Greetings
How well does your S7 HD work with the new firmware???
__

Hello Kleinraisting,
I also have the same problem with the new software!
The software is, as you know, almost identical to the software on the Octagon 1018

Greetings
__

Thanks, anyway!

I really can't understand why we cannot receive these british channels with our MPEG4 receivers. Perhaps the problem is the FEC 9/10 ???

We should do more tests, so that we can home in on the problem.

Greetings
__

Hello,

With my CT 5000 C plus I can receive all of the transmissions, 19 TV and several radio stations, but I can't hear or see anything!
According to Lyngsat, the transponder uses BISS encryption, although the CTCP [CT 5000 C plus ?] shows no encryption. I guess it is being "tricked".

Greetings
Jens
__

Hello,
According to flysat there ought to be only 13 TV channels

Greetings
__

I did not express myself clearly. There are 19 labelled stations:

SIPSI In-band confi
Fat CSI
BBC ONE
BBC ONE Scot
BBC ONE NI
BBC ONE Wales
BBC TWO
BBC THREE
BBC NEWS
BBC Red Button
BBC FOUR
CBBC
CBeebies
BBC Parliament
301
BBC HD
ITV1 HD
Channel 4 HD
S4C HD

Greetings
__

Hello!

Since I cannot find the answer to my question on any of the other threads, I'll ask here: Although the BBC HD, ITV HD etc on 11494 V have no encryption, why can't they be seen or heard? I would be grateful to hear from anyone who knows the answer!

Thanks!
__

Now they are being transmitted with FEC 1/2.

Discovered using an AzBox Premium HD+
__

Hi SAMS,
They are being transmitted with FEC 2/3

__

In the meantime, has anyone managed to receive this transponder with a Dream 8000?
On my Openbox 810 I have a 10.5 db signal, but my Dream ignores the signal completely.
__

Hi, I cannot receive anything on my Dm8000 with the latest software!

__

Today the BBC package is FTA (AltDVB no support AAC sound)

__

thanks

BBC HD and AAC no problem with DVBViewer

All very well posting a translation, but most of those comments are about which receiver can or can't resolve that transponder's high SR rate.

Openbox and Clark Tech appear to be OK with that SR, and my TBS6925 PCi card does the job too. Channel editors for the aforementioned receivers should enable the appropriate parameters ( CAID, VPID / APIDs etc.) to be manually inserted as these are not transmitted in the TS stream (No PAT sent).

I use DVB Dream's channel editor to insert the correct parameters.

If people want to continue to enjoy these channels, they really need to stop talking about it in public or the beeb will catch wind of it and blow our hard earned license fee on a batch of shiny new powervu or powervu+ decoders for their terrestrial tx sites and no one will be able to view them

Okay, smoggy07. :)

But I have one question that I would like to ask:

For those of you who use TBS cards (Llew and Ratchet), do you enter the CW directly into the TBS software? Or do you use the CW in an additional box, which has an internal CI module?

THey would've tightened their encryption ages ago if they were that concerned.

No, you use whatever channel editor comes with your viewing software. See the picture I uploaded earlier - in my case DVB Dream.

Llew said:
The mux contains a normal PAT (PID 0x0000). Otherwise no programs could be read. The problem is that the PMTs are scrambled. These tables contain the PIDs of the elementary streams like video, audio etc. This is the only proprietary element that the BBC has added to a constant CW CSA. Whether you call it BISS or just constant CW is academic ;) A CAT is not necessary. With BISS the CA_ID can be found in the PMT.

To get the channels in colour, you have to add the ES_PIDs manually. The allocation is known at least from the time when the transponder was open. The CW can be easily found on numerous key sites. Of course the tuner has to cope with the high DVB-S2 SR.

Here an example with TSReader and a manually defined channel (BBC HD).

Yes of course. One look at my TSReader would've shown the PAT and expanded PMT's. Apologies.

VPlug emulator as your chosen viewer's plugin together with the latest v_keys will have the appropriate BISS keys. Don't know if they change very often.
