You can't do it with a terrestrial aerial. To get broadcasts from the UK you will need a dish and digital satellite receiver, to get channels other than the BBC you will need a Sky Digibox and either a free or subscription card, depending on what channels you want.

Unless you are in an area that has an local microwave re-broadcast of UK channels, but even then you are probably better with a dish. :)

You can’t receive UK freeview in Spain with an aerial.

If you are in an area popular with English speaking people there might be a local rebroadcast service meaning you wouldn’t need a dish for some channels. But installation is expensive and you need to pay a monthly subscription. Check out local English speaking newspapers to see if there are any adds for it.

Where abouts are you?

A dish is your only option for subscription free UK TV

Well there's Freeview and Freesat. Freeview is DTT and Freesat is satellite. With a £20 Freesat card you get ITV,ch4 and 5.(also ITV2 I believe).

It would probably be a good idea to get the digibox and card in the UK before you go to Spain as you will pay a lot more for one there. The pace 2700 and new grundig range have good tuners for weak signals.

Your dish won’t be big enough for all channels, but you should be able to pick one up locally once you know the size you will need. Probably in the region of 1.2m, but try and find out locally before buying one.
