Anyone know where I could find a database for UK OB's they all normally have ID's of UKI-* just wondering if there's a database of them that contains the vans operator etc.

Cheers

Don't know about a complete list, but here's some of SIS's trucks -

Thanks Llew you've also given me the idea to search for filetype:pdf on google.

Edit found this:

Excellent remlap. Chucked away my trainspotter books, sharpened pencil, UKIs now the new hobby :-rofl2

In all seriousness though the TBS6925 and great blindscanning on receivers has made feed hunting simple and easy, logging OB Vans would be a new twist for me.

There is/was an OB van, think merc sprinter/SIS type with the big dish on the roof (not sis though) and a truck and trailer OB unit set up near me in Albert park Middlesbrough.

I didnt catch the name on the small van but the big truck and trailer has HD OB or HD TV on the side in a light bluey colour with 4 small omi-directional antenna towards the front (little white jobbies, maybe for radio mics) and a zone 2 minidish on the pavement to the back of the trailer (presumably for the studio talkback or something like that).

Apparently the BBC/CeeBeebies/CBBC are doing something there today, something to do with the Olympics so I`ve been told

Anyone know what bird I`m likely to find the OB feeds on?

I might go down later after I`ve finished my running about for the day, see if I can pick some brains and take a few pics lol

Well, I can't find anything on the 'Olympic' channels as I wondered if it tied in with a soccer match at the Riverside.

If it's for the BBC my first stops would be 12.5W, 24.5W and 1W.
