What happened there ?

(Who is brave enough to return to a lit firework that big ?)
 
New launch date: September 26.
 
A bit more delay to Sep 27, 12:10 EDT (16:10 UTC).
 
And another day or more delay announce by ULA, for swing arm retraction system tests :confused
 
Excellent camera quality and positioning for the launch.
 
Yes, and also a flawless launch it seems, number 142 for ULA!
The satellite is probably of the Orion series (signal intelligence).
Might be tested at 96°E, then move to final location.

Possibly due to replace USA202 (Orion 6) which is currently around 44.1E incl. It's mentioned towards the end of this: ULA Delta IV Heavy successfully launches NROL-44 - NASASpaceFlight.com
NROL-44 is likely a replacement for the eleven-and-a-half-year-old USA-202, with the displaced satellite taking on a reserve role in the constellation – either providing auxiliary data collection or serving as an on-orbit spare.

If it's similar to some other Orions, check for a strong beacon around 17.8-17.9GHz
