..well, I can get 2 tiles at full resolution on an extended desktop with internal display and external monitor, both full HD. Possibly more via streaming but that wouldn't be in sync ;)

...as I suspected
You need mega cpu power and lotsa memory for all 4 on a domestic PC..
Well done though ..
4 seperate recievers and a quad split TV screen with 4 hdmi inputs should give smoothish operation ..and close sync..
Each receiver only dealing with 1 segment 1cpu each ..but of course the quad split screen would downscale anyway..
I was more interested to see if it synced reasonably..

not quite.. I can watch all 4 fluently (at a reduced scale of course ;) ) and almost in sync on a laptop. It's progressive and that seems to suit a pc :D
May i ask how have you achieved opening 4 preview windows of Transedit to run simultaneously all 4 1080p streams ?

Yes ..I too was wondering about this ..
Perhaps there is another version of Transedit ..
Tried 'select all' ..and 'preview'...but only opens one window at a time ..
Can Transedit do mosaic ..?
Also tried ..Dvbviewer which is supposed to do mosaic ..but it doesn't run on my pc ..
PIP is ok ..but wont mosaic multiple PID windows..
?

Oh it's 1080p?? Hm, I noticed that the picture was a little juddery in places on the Uno - wondered why that was! Maybe Uno doesn't have enough juice for a full 1080p satellite transmission?

I'm certainly no expert when it comes to streaming ..but I'm guessing this is probably how it would be achieved using a single dvbs2 (in my case the TBS6925) card on one pc ..
The setting up of 4 pid identified streams to 4 vlc clients on screen at the same time in scaled windows..
But have yet to work out how to achieve this ..?
Suggestions would be welcomed.

Ok ..finally found another receiver that _will_ decode 1080P ...but runs lumpy and slow ..with only occasional clear images produced ..the Humax HDCI2000
The F15 is as smooth as silk ..even with audio ..but the cpu in the Humax can't keep up ..and the occasional clear image is several seconds behind ..
If only I had a 2nd F15 to prove my theory ....as I'm sure if both images were in real time the syncing would be more than adequate..
Here are a couple of images taken as photos on the LG..
Top left is the Humax ..Top Right is the F15 seconds in advance of the old Humax..
Only the F15 plays motion images in real time.

Ok ..so calculated the delay was roughly 2 seconds ..I switched the Humax to another channel and back 2 seconds later...
Not perfect ..but got it very close..
here ya go..

..30 secs later they were out of sync again ..but that was because the Humax just couldn't keep up cpu wise..lots of pausing and frame freezing/pixellation etc

VU+DUO - 1.1 triax motorised dark motor with twin invacom=== fixed 80 old black channel master on 19e with arm picking up 13e and 28.2 on a dm800(+smargo) in other room with 2 cards....:)
My Location
With the bosses Daughter
Moved my motor to 10 east and found the channels...bit jerky as mentioned by other members and not a great difference picture wise from other hd channels on my vu duo but i see my box only supports upto 1080i so it looks like i,m due an upgrade hehe...vu duo2 looks promising now..

I did notice the sound from the test channel was excellent tho on my pioneer home surround system.

You mustn't forget that you can only see 1/4 of the picture at a time. If you do that with normal HD you'll end up with less than SD qualitiy at least what the number of lines are concerned ;)
