Hi,
I have for sale a Unicorn 1.25 metre prime focus dish, Jaeger 1224 H-H motor and galvanised ground stand with 3" pole.
I am led to belive that the dish was UK manufactured by Rolls Royce for Unicorn Satellite Systems. It is a high quality spun aluminium prime focus dish similar to Precision/Elite.
Unicorn PF Dish - Who Manufactured Them ?
The Jaeger 1224 is in good condition, it could possibly do with a touch up with paint in a few areas where the original finish has flaked a little. There is a very marginal amount of play in the motor but it does not effect the satellite signal. I tested the motor play by gently toggling the dish within the play limits and there was no impact on the signal (0.8W, 12417 V, 15.5db on F15). As far as I am aware the motor play can be eliminated by adjustment of two internal allen bolts. However, the amount of motor play really is very small and I have not had the need to adjust it.
The ground stand with 3" pole is UK manufactured and almost brand new. It has been in use for approximately two months and dismantles into separate sections.
Asking price for the complete system is £250
or as individual components
