Hi,
Maybee know somebody what brand it s this dish and deserve to be used today on fringe reception.
I know only the dish it s used for upload long time ago.
I want to know if quality it s there.

From what I can tell, its not Andrew, Vertex or Antesky.

What size is it ?

The dish it s 3m fully automatic.Must be 25-30 years old.

Unlikely to be pre 1990.

You may need to get some/any numbers from the dish, or take some pictures of the back plate and mounting system.

this is a old PATRIOT dish.
But a realy good one.

Unlikely to be a Patriot, they were not around 25 years ago, and their cassegrain antennas normally came as a 16 section reflector (the picture shows 12) with an all in one post housing rather than a kingpost and stabilisers.

It might be a Chinese make (Xi-an ?), but I have no specifications here.

Back Then there were many differnt people making dishes.

Its not any Andrew, Vertex was a New company then, the Guy who started Vertex was an old Harris employee, It might be a Harris Antenna.

BSB (as in British Satellite Broadcasting) near Southampton Had 2 from a company called DAI Dallas Antenna I(?) Re 1987.

Another Company was TIW (Toronto Iron Works)

NEC also made antennas till 1996/7'ish

Mitsubushi also made large antenna's,

FORD Aerospace Div, Yes an off shoot from FORM Motors.

To name a few from what I can remember.
