Advice Needed unknown lnb

My Satellite Setup
1.2 m Echostar at Twotec twinrotor with lnb changer
My Location
Nijmegen Netherlands
Got my hands on a brandnew old lnb in a white box only labeled with Ku-Band LNB , no brand name
The four connectors at the back have marks like L1 (also DC) L2 , H1 and H2
Inside at the PCB connector H2 is marked HH and H1 as HV so I guess L1 is LV and L2 LH
So its a quattro lnb but why the extra mark DC at one connector ?
also printed at the PCB 83DL HH and 83DH HH
Who can tell some more ?

I don't know anything about the LNB, but I remember having read on a german forum that some multiswitches only give DC power on one of the 4 ports for a quattro LNB.
Parallel to this, a quattro LNB would need the internal components for power on only one of the ports.
I believe there allways was ONE particular quattro port for that, but don't remember which one. :(
Edit: here is an example of Low-Horizontal powering: Multischalter 9/8 - ist es möglich, drei Satpositionen zu mischen?

This would, I guess, not only save parts, but also save power consumption while useing the LNB.

I would assume that would be the case with your LNB.

I would think the case is a convenient standard on a number of different designs.

Thanks Rob , I do have a nice 1.2 CM in the garden with a Raven feedhorn and will test this lnb and see what happens when I just connect them one by one direct to the receiver .

Earlier this week I tested this lnb .
Its correct what A33 told , this lnb is only working at all bands when there is power on de connector with the DC mark .
Surprisingly , its works as "universal lnb" and give attached to the raven feedhorn , the same signal strenght as a BEST HD3D 101 Single lnb .
That BEST lnb is allmost as good as the Inverto BU .
