hi im new to the forum and was just wondering if anyone can help me im in ireland and i have an english card that i brought over with me from when i lived over there but when i re ordered and got through my new card all the free channels i use to get like fiver and five usa and sky 3 are all now locked are sayin viewing card not authorised. does anyone know what i can do to re open these channels without paying the monthly subscription? also is there anyway of unlocking the whole system so scrambled channels like dave and gold and the music, sport, and film channels are opened?
 
Is card white or blue? If blue, sorry you are out of luck as they have all been turned off now! Need a white card.
 
oh its a white card yer i got the replacement one sent to a family members so i could keep the the english channels and news etc any ideas on what to do
 
You have to call sky to activate the card.They will ask you to go to system details and give them all the info on screen. But hide your phone number when you call so that they don't know you are in Ireland.

thats awesome how do you block your number do you know? that seems like a handy option
 
Over here we just call straight from our mobile phones and they cant trace us but there is a feature in most mobile phones to hide your number when you make a call.
