Updated cam using laptop but...

Hello,
sorry about this but ive just spent the last few day getting the right drivers etc. Just updated my MR using Acer laptop. But i have a humax 5400. I was under the impression that if i used the laptop then the cam would initialise in 5400. I have been reading all the past theads but i think i must have got it wrong. Any ideas.

You just need to pop the CAM in the laptop for a couple of minutes to let it initialise Benny and it should then work in the Humax.
 
Ta for that ,i think i was just relieved to get all the drivers in etc. I was a bit premature, so no change there then.

after you program your cam with laptop ,,,you should pull out and push in the cam twicely in the laptop slot(pcmica) and leave it 30 sec in each time

this will allow cam initialization by laptop

then take the cam out to your humax ,,,,it will be ok
if not ,,,,, try to re-program again
