Updating softcam.key file

Hi All

Glad to have found this board , been flayling around in cyberspace alone for a while looking for knowledgeable sat people.

I`ve got ProgDVB + S2emu working fine , most of the Sly channels just went off , but never mind.

How are the key files found / updated ?

Is there a way us `users` can find/update these keys ?

Can we all work together like the seti@home project to locate keys quicker ?

any info would be appreciated.

If you are using S2emu, then all you do is replace the softcam file with the latest version.
When a new version of S2emu comes out, just replace that as well. THATS ALL.

Thanks for replying , nice site.

I`m aware of how the softcam system seems to work and have been playing with ProgDVB / DVB Dream for a while now.

What I am trying to find out is if its possible for all of us users to be able to locate the new keys for use in the softcam.key file.

How are the correct keys discovered ?

What tools are the guys like Hubi90 using to locate the keys ?
