I value the advice I've already received on this topic from forum members, relating to my planned upgrade to HDTV+Freesat.
Based on this, and the wife's insistence that we really need the Freesat 7-day EPG, what I think I want is as follows :
A Panasonic 100hZ lcd TV with built-in Freesat, a dish upgrade to an 85cm Fracarro Penta dish, separate lnb's on a multi-bracket for 13 - 19 - 28 east , each going through a 4-way diseqc switch to my existing Echostar receiver, the 28E lnb being a twin with one feed going direct to the TV via a new cable.
Two minor problems :
1) the 100hZ Panny lcd TV with Freesat doesn't exist yet (unless I compromise with the budget specced 50hZ LZD81)
2) I haven't read anywhere that the Fraracco Penta's can support a multi-bracket or produce a good signal for 13-28.
Apart from these minor stumbling blocks, am I on the right lines? I presume a motorised dish is a non-starter when one feed has to link directly to the TV?
