upgrading digital receiver

pl. help to upgrade my receiver
i have GS 1590 receiver
and i brought RS 232 cable
i have downloaded world of satellite II progrome (SatcoDx)
i tried but i am not able to add new free channels in my receiver

also i tried to update the patch
Software.cus
stbV2
but i am not able to do that

when i am going to the menu of my receiver to "connect data transfar" it is showing faild

how can i connect my receiver to my computer, how can i know it is connected or not
and how can i add new channels in my receiver

pl. help me in this regards
i know u r there good plp and will help me to do what i want

i am in hope of receiving importat information

Hi dear i want information about TPS i install new softwer last day for reciver starsat Dx-super and few days softwer working nice but after three days it is not working why u have any information ................
