At 7.0E I did not manage to lock the signal on 21533 H,21598 H and 21636 H.

Another first for me
finally locked the 2 channels STV Cameroon
@21545 H 21543 ..
Is this on a new frequency ..or is the power much greater than say a few months ago ?
around 9.5db here ..
been trying to lock this off and on for over 12 months..
finally...

21551 H 1057
identifies as Program 1000
Alpha Blondy FM

and just as quickly as it came ..
STV dropped o.5db ..and no longer locks..

Yes, I've got those VS, never seen Alpha Blondy FM before.
I have had STV1/2 some while ago, but it was always hit and miss.

STV has always been below lock here as long as I can remember ..until tonight that is ..
lock level on my XMW is in and out at 9.3db ...
solid lock at 9.6db

sent the radio details off to Flysat..

...Had to get up around 5-am to let the cats out and answer the call of nature ...
Couldn't resist just checking if STV was still there before going back to sleep..
It was ..and at a massive 11.1 db

..just checked and still high around 10.5db after taking a tea towel to the feed face..and its drizzling so the dish and lnb feed are wet.
Is it back to stay at greater power levels ?
Nothing set in stone at these frequencies.

If it aint too much trouble I'd appreciate an up to date scan of just what you can currently lock on 16E with your XMW ..
I know I am fringe regarding this one ..and do suffer a sizeable db difference being a few miles further West and North of you even with the XMW at the focus of the 1.5
..But I have noticed significant reductions lately ..
So much so that transponders that used to lock such as Eden ..and the TFM mux no longer do ..
Cameroon is barely hanging in there ...and is suffering dropout ...
The Canal2 mux has been below lock and below 4db for some time here..
anyway ..
I'm attaching a scan taken this morning of the 2 humps...
My Right hump suffering the most I guess.
Time for an implant ???

The fact that we see much the same would indicate ..a general reduction in signal levels from this point on the arc..
I wont rush out and start tweaking ...in light of your reply ..
bound to make things worse.
Looking at your scan though ..
your right hand hump is fairly evenly balanced with the left ..wheras mine is a bit lower ..
Id guess this acounts for the lower signals Im seeing from TMF and Canal2 etc ..
A good full db below yours...

I see what you mean VS, maybe a slight attenuation of the beam at the higher frequencies towards your location.

Might just be a seasonal drop in signals, I know we've had better results earlier with those unlocked frequencies, as can be seen earlier in this thread.

The odd thing is, the unlocked channels at 21571/76H are down a little compared to yesterday and still unlocking, yet Burkina is up 2dB and locking today
