My Satellite Setup
Eurovox quantum on a Technomate TM2200 motor and a 1mtr Dish with a MTI 0.6 LNB and have added a Technomate 1500CI+to my collection
My Location
Scotland
This might be an easy one for you but is the USALS on a motorized system dictated to by the receiver or the motor......ie if the motor is centred and you select hotbird is the motor programmed to to turn to the required degrees or does the receiver tells it to to turn 13°E.
Im sure on mine it has built in sat table so i was just wondering if those are the satellites i am limited to?

Some motors have a pre-built satellite table for satellite positions - This is for using in DiSEqC 1.2 mode and can be adjusted and stored accordingly.

USALS is a software that can calculated the position of a satellite location based on your own Long & Lat - input at time of installation
