usb fault on dm800?

hi all
i have a dm800 and the usb ports are not working, i believe i need a download called 'scanning device manager' i believe it is on the gemini server
so how do i get this file ?
i have the blackhole image on my 800

Can you give us some more info as to why you think the USB ports are not working ?

What are you trying to connect ?

i have a hdd which is esata and usb if i connect it to the esata port it works 100% but when i plug it (or me pen drive) into the usb port it is not reconsied at all, i have been in touch with the supplier how have been helping me to try and find a answer. also when i try to install barry allen it says cannot find media and ends the install. so any help would be good

Ok I have not heard of anyone having much or any success with USB HDD.
When it come to your USB make sure that it is brand new and that you have not formatted it under windows.
 
Tried my USB Flash drive and like you it wasnt recognised by BA. reformatted it to fat32 and still no luck.

Went and bought a new flash drive popped it in and bingo it worked. Have to agree with Sonic...............I think it has something to do with Windows.

i had to return this 800 as the usb was faulty and the replacement works 100%
