hi can anyone recommend a online place to buy a used digbox as i'm after something decent like a pace ds430n

i've seen them on ebay but dont really trust it as what if it doesn't work

theres a seller on ebay called SKYDIGIBOXESUK

has anyone used them before as they say to offer 3 month garantee with them ?

what are the new sky digiboxes like ? are they decent but i dont like the design as you cant stack them and heard about faults with them

Car boot season around the corner....should be loads going spare now peeps have had chance to go S_y+ and HD
 
ended up buying one off ebay and it came today and is working fine

its very quick compared to my pace 2500s5

also could someone let me know what the latest software version for a pace ds430n is please

Kool did you get a FTA card with it, Best thing to do is do a sofware update by unpluging the box then hold back up on the front of the receiver while pluging it back in untill all the lights come on and you get a update message on the screen,

How much did you pay for it,

no fta card as already have sky so just used that card which worked fine

probably over paid but offered 50 notes for one as the seller states a 3month warranty

as i bid on a few of them and they went over 40 pound so thought the price i paid was ok

might use it and loop it through my motorised dish
 
Its a nice looking digi box, but appart from that what`s so speacial about this stb?
 
the white pace ones are the best the ds430n is good and the 2600c1 that looks the same just the 2600c1 has a sharp made tuner so it's better for fringe areas like spain etc,

Best way to pick them up cheap is on ebay from people who ain't got a clue about satellite and just list it under digibox or skybox etc.
 
seems the holding backup then plug in doesn't seem to work as i can get the lights on the front lit up but no update message

Can anyone who has one let me know the software version and epg version as its missing some channels in the epg

updated it twice but no joy so i guess theres no update for pace ds430n
 
The latest EPG version for single tuner sky boxes is 3.4.4b or 3.5.3 both being the same , the latter one adding a ,, system healthcheck '' which i think it's done over the phone line anyway . Hope this helps .
