Using a Sky card in a Freesat box???

Hi guys (and girls),

I read somewhere that, using a Diablo CAM, a Sky card will work in a Freesat box. Before I invest in one, can anyone actually confirm that it really works? And, if it does work, will I need to keep updating codes in the Diablo to keep it working?
 
According to information on the Digital Spy forum it does indeed work.

The card will not get its monthly stay alive updates so the card would need to be put into a sky box overnight once a month or so, and if you are going to faff around doing that why not just get a Sky digibox in the first place?
 
Which Freesat boxes have CAM slots?
 
The Humax HDR has a ci slot.
 
OK thanks, wasn't sure.:)

With the Diablo, you need to make sure that you have the correct software, not all new versions work with a Sky card.:)
