Hi to all my friends at Satellites.co.uk.
I have a topfield tf5000ci receiver (a bit old I know) and live in Colombia South America.
I used this receiver with no problems at all in Europe the problem is that whatever I've tried I can not receive any channels at all here. I have 2 lnbs. one is 1145-1220 GHz. (ex directv Colombia). The other I bought here new 10.7-12.75 GHz. (universal)
I have tried both these lnbs on the 60cm dish I have, on most of the satélites west, but only get about 73% quality, and zero signal.
Does anybody know what the problem can be and if I can use this topfield receiver here in Colombia?
someone suggested I need a C band lnb????? If so What is a C band lnb?
