Using Passive Season Interface for Mediaguard Emulation

Dreambox 7020

Can I use my passive season interface (which has a smartcard slot) for Mediaguard emulation with Walbanger, Windecrypt etc? I had tried using it with Wallbanger 2.02 but there was no communication data in the log window. But if I inserted a valid smartcard, I could see the data in the window and the picture on my TV so I know my com port and speed were correct. I have valid MK01/PPUA etc so how do I fix this if possible?
