Wanted V-Bolt, internal spacing 3"/76mm

Looking for a V-bolt to fix a Stab HH120 motor to a pole. I have one but the other is missing.

Internal width between the legs is 3" or 76mm, straight section of leg is about 80mm. Bolt is M8.

I have a square U-bolt which would do but think the V-bolt would be better/stronger and less likely to move.

Struggling to find anything with my Google-fu :(

I've taken a punt on one of the Ebay 3/8" V bolts. I may need to file out the holes on the clamp and the shackle a little.

Here's a pic of the original part:

i went through this pain, and gave up - ended up acquiring a few from 2nd hand motors being sold on facebook - then i went down the 36v route.

 
The problem with the "proper" way of measuring is that if you substitute, say, a 4mm diameter threaded bolt with a 5mm diameter threaded bolt then the important measurement (the green one) narrows. It's only 1mm and probably wouldn't matter but it's not good technically.

A comparison can be made with exhaust system U-clamps. There, the size is that of the pipe being clamped and therefore this is the green measurement.
 
Hmm, this seller disagrees with the red way of measuring.


 
It is a bit of a minefield!

V Bolt - extra long 3" V bolt STAINLESS (M8) - A.T.V. Poles, Brackets, Clamps & Aerials seems to be "inner diameter" of 3" or 80mm.

It might work if cut of the excess :)

:p disagrees to green one, so, it is 65mm V-bolt then.
Poor choice of words or punctuation. Sorry.

I meant to say something along the lines of - This seller disagrees, he uses the red way of measuring.

From what I see on the mount, the two parallel vertical lines shows that the dish has been moving around, what I have done in the past is to use a piece (cut to fit) of 120 grit wet/dry sand paper and glue it to the mount, (exterior rated glue) grit side out, the dish will never move again. (once all bolts are used)
