Can I use a V-Box to move the Dreambox if I already have an Echostar 3000ip
set up?
My computer is alrea dy in a home network situation running through a router.
So I guess that side is okay.
I have notced that with Sky card 2 there is no freezing on Cabo, in fact it is one of the reasons that I am considering changing receivers. The only two choices that appear open are Dreambox or M-Vision FCIS 7000. Any thoughts anyone?

If however I fail......I even had trouble setting up a network O-Ha
there will be a very cheap receiver going in the for sale section O-no
Looking forward to at least trying. Regards
Allan

Hi Allan, the V-Box should be fine with the Dreambox and should be a simple case of swapping over the cables. You will get all of the help you need from here if you do have problems anyway. :)

Just out of interest, what is this V Box?? Can it be used to move big dishes that have motors that can't be moved directly with diseqc?

Yep, it translates your DiseqC commands to operate a 36v motor, works well.

@ dobblek.
What appears to be your trouble? Details would be appreciated as all answers could be helpful to other people with the same or similar problems.
Allan

Sorry friend, have just noticed your problem lower down in the thread.
Looks like I jumped in with both feet. My Apologies, have you solved your problem yet?
