vbox to actuator wiring

My Satellite Setup
1.2 channel master, cm polar mount, 12 inch actuator, Andrews feedhorn, Inverto lnb, Superjack positioner, Dreambox dm 500s, Protek 9600ip, 1m channel master with black ultra & 1m gibertini with technomate twin output lnb on astra 1/2, TM 5200 & 1000

As i bought the 1.2cm, actuator, mount second hand the guy i bought it from left a small bit of the motor wire attached to the vbox and actuator so i know how to wire it, also he gave me some cable for it.

But the cable seems very thin and looks like internet cable, has six inner wires, red, black, blue, green, white, yellow.
On the vbox black and yellow are going into the motor+, blue and green motor-, white sensor-, yellow sensor+.

Why is there six wires going into 4 connections, is this not done wright. I thought it was ment to be 4core cable.

Also how do i know were to connect what on an actuator, as i am getting a new one, will it come with a diagram.

I have also heard before about wiring these up wrong can cause damage.

That's cat5e, where you double up 2 of the inner wires. Don't use it; get yourself some decent 4 core.

Wiring instructions are on the vBox and inside the actuator cap. Following the destruction's carefully will prevent you frying the reed sensor.

I'll got to the local electrical shop and see what they have.
 
One more thing,

On the diagram inside the actuator it doesnt say were the + or - is,
Is it the same way on that as it is the back of the v-box.
 
On some motors it's trial and error, you set it up try moving the dish east and if it goes west you return the dish to the starting position and switch the motor wires round, ensure you have the sensor wires connected when using the motor.

Just be really careful you don't mix pulse wires with drive ones, or you may need to save up for a reed switch as well.
