Hey, I was searching the 'net for a DVD recorder, and I came across a web site in the UK.

I bought one for just £47. That includes £5 next day shipping. :eek:

Anyway, this is what you get for your money. A 250 GB hard drive, a DVD recorder DVD/CD-DA,CD,CD-R/CDRW,DVD+R/RW-/RW+

And it also plays avi files! :eek: It doesn't have Freeview but it has an analogue tuner. You can connect a Freeview box anyway. It has loads of sockets and two scarts.:eek:

* And get this, the 160GB version is only £30 excluding £5 shipping.:eek:

These are UNBRANDED DVD units, but they're BRAND NEW, IN THE BOX. Amazing value.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. You can put in your USB pen drive too, and it'll play movies off that. :-worship

And no, I don't work for the company. It was just satisfied with the product and I got mine the next day. No complaints. :)

So I thought I'd spread the word around. :D

So it can record from SCART? and has a record timer? I might have to buy one of these and pair it with my TM500

Almost worth it for the hard drive alone :D
 
Yeah, it has a record timer and two scarts. But you'd have to connect it to a Freeview box. :)
