Whilst not in any way condoning the actions of Stokes, I find it particularly strange that it took from September until mid November for the case to be handed over to the CPS and then it takes the CPS nearly two months to decide to charge him with affray. I know of no other incident or brawl that takes 5 months before charges are brought. This whole case smells of outside influence:-
