Viasat card problems

Hi

I am trying to get my viasat card to work in my dreamboxes, tried with both DM500s and DM7020s, both with PLI image and cccam. My problem is that nothing happens when I insert the card into the internal card reader. Should I not get a message saying that a card is inserted or something??? How do I know if the card is registered by the box. What am I doing wrong. Do I need more software? Please show me the way :)

I thought there is a votlage issue on these cards when using the internal cardreader on a Dreambox ? I was not successfull getting a DM800s or a DM500s to read the new Viasat 093e card, and resorted to building a Debian Server with a Omnikey reader with Oscam.

did you get your viasat card from a reseller bud?

looking to get one for next seasons footy but want a reliable seller!
 
The card was from Sweden...No uk dealer involved.
