Viasat Denmark are planning to move from old MPEG2 to MPEG4, this helps with compression therefore meaning less bandwidth is needed to broadcast channels. They mention in the article this change will happen gradually but they also mention a deadline of January 16th, I don't speak Danish so can't translate accurately. To help viewers with the switch they are providing HD boxes for free.

Presumbaly when this is done DR1, D2 etc in Standard Definition will be removed. Bad news for those who watch these channels for free on special boxes.

It starts on Jan 16th. Google auto mangle has actually done a good job here:

Google Translate
Hmm, well, yes. But it is still evident that translate is not context-driven, e.g.
"Connect the box to the Internet and rent movies, watch international news channels, and watch or broadcast broadcasts in the TV archive."
which should have been more like "and watch programmes from the archive."
