Viasat HD channels 5E

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 1500, 90cm Dish, Mesh Computer ART, Digit Alb, Fortec 2.4m Dish
Channel Master 2.4m, Showtime.
My Location
West Midlands
Guys I would be grateful if somebody would advise me about Viasat Sweeden at 4.8e. I have swung my 2.4 channel master around and have picked up the following channels TV6, Viasat Football, Viasat Football Sweeden, Viasat Sport Extra 1& 2 Level 97% Quality 88%, However when i try and manual search Premier League HD & Viasat Sport HD on my Technomate 1500 I get no signal or no quality, Is this because i have not got a HD box or should i be able to see them, I think John 896 may have got this package, Any help would be great.

You need an HD box. An SD box will show no signal on any HD tp.

BTW - Ive split this off the Abu Dhabi thread as its irrelevant to that discussion :)

you would need the viasat receiver as I believe viasat are nds so the card will be paired to the receiver.

is the 97% signal strength for all 5e inc nordic beams all weathers ?
 
Hi Wod,

The only transponders that i scanned were the following 12054v 11862v 12456h & 12399v ( Both of these were HD no signal ) 11977v & 11747 yes the level was around 97% for those and the quality was 84% to 88% on a technomate 1500ci, I have now swung the dish back over to Nilesat so i can still watch my showtime channels for the time being.
