Advice Needed Videosat TVS7700 and Fransat

My Satellite Setup
Videosat TVS7700 box + Samsung smart TV. Dish at 5 deg West
My Location
Sheffield, UK
I hooked up a dish on 5W and a Videosat TVS770 box with an old Fransat card to a Samsung smart TV today. An auto-tune sweep found french channels (I want french TV), but nothing decoded.

Might the Fransat card need renewing?

Or is the box too old to decode current channels? Are they all HD now?

I would have said an HD box and HD card would be required but others may know better

 
Im pretty sure Fransat cards expire every 4-5 years now so it probably needs replacing. If you dont have a contact in France have a look at the tvcorner shop. They are pretty good & reliable.
