Viewasia through Sky

Standard Sky dish with sat reciver card in pc

I was looking at getting the Viewasia package that is available for Indian channels. It says that you need a Sky setup to get the service, and they send you a viewing card for the channels.
The question I have is...I don't have sky as I use freesat, but if I bought a skybox and put the Viewasia card in would it work or do I have to have an active Sky subscription??
Would be glad of any advise on this.

Do ViewAsias provide you with their own card? If so it will work fine in a Sky box.

If however its an add on to the normal Sky service you will need a Sky subscription first.
 
They say the will send me a card !
So you reckon I should be OK?
 
Yeah, Premier Sports do the same thing but you need to ring ViewAsia to pair the viewing card and stuff like that and not Sky
 
The Terms & Conditions (under "Prerequisites) only make mention of Sky Digibox and Dish, so it seems you may be ok.

As Sky provide Card Services to Viewasia, I imagine you'll also get the English FTV Channels too eg Fiver, Five US, Sky 3 etc.

Yeah it works as a FTV card too
