My location is Pakistan Karachi and I am using STAR TRACK SR-12X Plus I am facing problem while viewing Private Spice even i have upgrade the software on 16th Feb it views only for one minute and then disappears for 4-5 minutes please help me to solve the problem I shall be very thankfull

Which frequency and what is the size of your dish?

size of dish is 8ft(250cm) Signals are very clear but showing message Encrypt program

Frequency is 10911 V 27500

Thats a TPS frequency on Hotbird.

The problem is very simple - TPS change their keys every few minutes.

Not that it matters to you in the long term - TPS are widely expected to leave Hotbird in the near future

Can't help you with your existing FTA receiver.
I always recommend to newbies not to buy FTA receiver because when later on they decide to buy an official subscription, they need to invest in another receiver.
So, for a subscription you need another receiver with CAM supporting Viaccess or Irdeto.
With the installation cost of 8ft dish and all the peripherals, one should enjoy the system by subscribing instead of relying only on FTA.
It is like having an expensive car and not buying petrol.

yar simply buy a Echolink 700 FTA series or any echolink FTA series . i m in dubai yet.but while i was in pakistan i was watching this all at EL-700. now i got EL888+ and all are runnning very good. except play boy gone yesterday .

you can buy it easily in karachi withinn 2200 rupees . in Dubai i bought a new EL 888+ in 120 AED .

Before you spend vast amounts of Pakistani rupees wait a few weeks until it becomes clearer exactly whats happening to TPS. Their existing customers are rapidly being migrated over to CanalSat on 19E so its certain the TPS transmissions will be axed at some point fairly soon

Dear Friend I have bought ECHOLINK EL700 on your advise please let me know from which website I can download latest software for my receiver also please tell me I have datacable with which I upgrade the software of STAR TRACK can I use this datacable to upgrade the software for ECHOLINK or I have to buy specific for this receiver Waiitng for your reply

Dear iffi bhai ,

Thsi is a procedure how to update a software. I twice done this same to my EL-700 & EL-888+ but remember, be cautious no one here is responsible if you are doing it incorrect. it's all ur risk. take chances if u dare. dont blame me or this forum for anything wrong.

1. download loader
2. shutdown pc and stb
3. connect stb and pc with rs232
4. start pc
5. open loader
6. select proper com port.
7. select "database upload mode" frm dropdown menu in loader.
8. click on start.
9. provide filename as zenega and select destination.
10. start stb.
11. extraction starts showing progress both in loader and stb.
12. close when done.
13. disconnect stb securely.

I am using FTA receiver ECHOLINK please let me know from where(web site) I can download the latest softwares for my satellite receiver. Secondly I have data cable by which I upgrade software of my satellite receiver STAR TRACK can I use this data cable to upgrade the software of my new receiver ECHOLINK or I have to buy another one specific for ECHOLINK.

and I think it's not the real channel ! shouldn't it be 24 huors ?

You are watching TPS not Private Spice that is why it is not 24 hours
