Yes I know its no longer a Freesat channel but is FTA and quite popular. It has gone off air (black screen and test tone), missing from Sky EPG, Virgin Media and web stream is black screen and test tone.

Looks to severe financial problems.

Yes, 5001 on our Foxsat is black screen and continuous tone. No kissing, though.

Quelle fromage :(

Music channelsm dont have much future on linear tv. Why would anyone sit through adverts every 2 or 3 songs and suffer all the tiresome dross until a favourite song comes on. Much easier to use youtube - and with the right browser plug in - no bloody adverts :D

it s also black screen and test tone here on FTA reception today 8/8

There were some great music channels in the past. Viva from Germany (and to some extent Poland) and TMF from Belgium and Netherlands were some of the best. ZTV from Sweden was decent as well at times.

That is until they were all bought by Viacom and ruined it all with reality dross and sitcoms.

With the demise of dedicated music channels, CDs and take home mediums, the world is a poorer place becuase of the advance in streaming.

The smart speakers I was using a couple of years back could playback Youtube content using the intelligent seach facility, but even that has required a workaround as of late. Subscription to Pandora/Spotify/Deezer ect is not my thing, though I did like TuneIn radio when stuck in the office over the winter.

:( i miss TMF a lot (the music factory) especially their year mixes was one of a kind (like those ones below). Viva was great too. ZTV reception was a little bit problem in eastern europe so i just saw some clips on you tube.

and i believe it was 2010 for last time they had year mix.

update: wow i ve just found some recordings (mpeg) from TMF :) in my archive

I can confirm Vintage TV is alive and kicking, just not on UK providers.

You can get it online (oooerrr) if you look hard enough.

Vintage have fallen off air again & the watch.vintage.tv site is down as well. Is this the end for them?

It's sad that Vintage TV has vanished off the face of the earth, but in the scheme of things, no great loss! For us folks with motor and dish we can get loads of music channels and I have to say that one of our favourites is on 13 east called 4 Fun Gold Hits. It's a Polish channel but we think it's excellent! Learning a bit of the language, too!

Eska Rock TV is good as well mainly UK,USA & Oz Rock with some Polish Rock groups,
Hotbird 13C @ 13 east,
10795 V 27500 S2 .
