Next problem in the development stage is when trying to stream dreambox using VLC I get

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.1.35:8001/1:0:1:11FC:6:601:EEEE0000:0:0:0:'.
Check the log for details.

It seems I can open some channels from my PC but most of them give this error. Is there a stable version of VLC or is there a setting a am missing (I am using version 1.0.3)

IIRC, you have to have the channel required in an existing bouquet, not for instance a newly scanned channel.
 
Haven't set up bouquets. Just scanned and hoped. I'll set up a bouquet with all the channels and let you know. Thanks for the help
