my Vu duo is in need of a new flash img, I use this box as my Freesat box and a 2TB hdd.

I run cross epg to set up my recordings, and a plug-in called auto timer.

I have a dvb t stick in the back, along with an 8gb flash memory stick.

Currently I am running open pli img.

Should I stick with a new version of open pli or can anyone recommend a better img.

Considering how old, and relatively slow, the VU+ Duo is, now, I'd stick with what you've got.
If it was capable of running Kodi, or the other newer features, I would then upgrade, but unfortunately I don't think you'll gain much, if anything, from upgrading.

Solo2 using openpli 6 RC (updating now and then), no crashes, and working fine (for my use, basically freesat + 19.2). Got full epg without any plugins, enabled: EIT, Freesat.

Can't comment on other images as no need or curiosity to test\use anthing else.

The VU+ Solo2 is a far newer receiver, capable of running Kodi, and IPTV, unlike the VU+ Duo.
I tend to watch quite a few classic television series, no longer shown on satellite, using Kodi, on my VU+ Duo2, running Open Blackhole.
