Vu plus duo HD channels not working

hi guys,

Wondered if you can help have just setup my vu plus duo box and the channels like sky sports hd, all the movies etc are not working i am getting a blank screen the epg comes up and bt sport hd is working for me tried reading around but cant get my head around it.

The SD versions are fine but HD is not working can anyone help?

Any feedback is appreciated.

I am running openvix on the vu plus duo.

All Sky HD channels Sports & Movies only work now with a paired Sky Box so you will have to put your card in the Sky Box that your card is paired with for the Sky HD channels to work,

The only exceptions are ITV-HD 2,3 & 4 + what you have discovered.

It appears your running it on a card share/gift from what you say ?.

Yup as the others say this is completely correct - the HD channels havent worked for months now..

If you want the HD channels use a proper Sky HD box.

Thanks for the feedback i read something about having a cable signal going into the vu plus which enables you to get services like sports hd from a virgin media line but unsure very new to all this.

Currently got a c line and the sd channels are fine.

Well theres your answer - if you want the HD channels pay for a proper subscription from Sky & use a Sky HD box.

Or do without. Your choice.


I shall close the thread now as we do not permit discussions of illegal decryption of the pay services here. If your illegal provider had promised all the HD channels on your line he was lying - its not been possible for ages.
