Is it possible to have a single tuner in A/B switch with A Fixed and B a Usals Positioner. When i select positioner in VIX 3.1.1 i seem to lose the switching possibility.

Yes it is although i dont use the Vix image personally i have a similar setup but again i dont have a USALS motor any more either but when i did al you have to do is in the tuner configuration menu set your fixed dish to Diseqc 1.0 and the rest of the satellites to Diseqc 1.2 now at the very end of the Diseqc 1.2 menu if you scroll down you can change the positioner number option to something which says Use USALS for this SAT which will allow you to enter your Lon and Lat details for all your other satellites.

I might add this is only tested by myself on the Uno with Blackhole image and Motor on Switch A and fixed on Switch B, Also why not treat yourself to one of the Dual tuner cards should be available from Friday this will eliminate the Diseqc switch.

Hi,

Thanks for this Ill go take a look now , in reference to the other tuner card , purchasing one isnt really the problem its more I dont want to plumb another coax into the tv room if i can help it. When you say dual tuner card do you mean there is the possibility to convert the +uno to triple tuner ?

The standard UNO has a single tuner, the plug and play tuner that is coming on the market will make the UNO a twin tuner box which will enable you to plug a fixed dish in one one tuner and your motor on the other tuner taking away the need for a switch..

Aah yes, this plugin tuner card is available here in Spain now ( 40 euros ) , I actually want to have the switch since it means not running two lenghts of coax which have to come through the house.

In the end this was very simple :) I used disecq tones changing between AA and AB in tuner configuration i specified a second LNB for the fixed dish.

Yes, you need to set up one LNB number for each actual LNB. LNB for the fixed dish is DiSEqC 1.0, and the other LNB for all the motorised satellites is DiSEqC 1.2.

BTW where is the dual tuner card for the Uno 40€?
