VVC - Versatile Video Coding, I believe this will be the successor to HEVC in a few years. Good luck getting a picture from this atm :D

Why can't anyone get a picture? Is it because no equipment yet exists that's available to the general public that can read this new format?

Does anyone know if there is there any audio present? Can this be picked up? I'm curious as to what they're broadcasting.
 
It's a totally new codec(should be H266), so only a select few would have access to it I would assume.

TSReader reports the audio as AAC, but I can't hear anything when played with VLC.
 
Scans in on my receiver in the Radio section :eek:

Classical music yesterday,
No lock on this transponder today looks like a change in the transmission type.
 
Signal back now on TM6902HD 11973 V 31000 75% SQ with 100cm Gibby,
VVC Test Transmission in the radio section
No music atm audio pid=258, P Pid=257

It does disappear from time to time tbh.

what did you use to see these images I with VLC only see the pin and black screen thanks
 
the linked page mentions a custom version of VLC, and that's the VLC traffic cone on the diagram so hopefully there'll be a public version soon.

No signal NE England on a Sky zone 2 dish.
