Very little maybe 2% providing the contact is good it will be no different to a A/B switch.

- Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Check the speck's on the wall plate...Usually around 1.5 to 3dB at 1 GHz, but make sure the connectors are rated to 2.5 GHz or better, some are just for TV signals, you will have higher dB loss for that type.

Some diplexing sockets have a higher loss than the 2dB claimed, plus they are often 'notchy' at particular frequencies.
