Hi,

I bought a Channel Master feedhorn for use with my CM dish - however, it didn't come with an adapter ring to go from 40mm LNB neck to a 23mm one that's on the feedhorn. Any ideas where I can buy one in UK? Or maybe someone has one lying around they don't want?

Thanks
Alex

I think I have one from when I bought my TD110.

Wait a bit while I rummage through my spares box!

Ok. found it - it looks as if it should happily fit any 40mm collar as it's got a lateral slit in it to allow for adjustment and compression.

PM me your address and I'll pop it in a Jiffy Bag for you.

That is pretty easy to make some spacers from plastic pipes. Costs - nothing :-doh2

Yes indeed: Royal Snail or Parcel Farce!

But the critical path is lack of CJ's address: The Adapter is already in a Jiffy Bag waiting to go ....................

Ha ha! Ten gets one he'll have a go at making one anyway.

The pukka one is no use to me - I've had it five years and it has never been used. Someone else may as well have the benefit.

Ha! Won't be doing work on the dish for at least another month, so no hurry. I am not a huge fan of DIY stuff, mainly because I am absolutely useless at it!

Tivu, many thanks for your kind offer! I'll PM you the address now.

That is not a 40/23mm converter. Look at my pictures and you will see they are completely different. The internal diameter of the CM item is bigger than 23mm and has a register for correct placement.

Yeah, I know they are slightly different but it's more than good enough and allows for some degree of adjustment.

With all these adapters CJ will need another dish - that'll be the start of the major increases on CJ dish farm then :D

Any chance you could send me a dish that matches my feedhorn (a 1.8m on a polar mount would be good, or maybe a 2.4m)?
