I’ve been watching the news coverage of the war, and every time you see some officer being interviewed at whatever command post they happen to have set up that day, I am struck by the amount sat dishes in the background.
They must have some well trained guys serving in communications, what with all the stuff those guys have to deal with.
Just imagine, radio chatter, opps chatter, telemetry from fighters, bombers, camera enabled missiles, unmanned drones.
And all of this mostly done by sat, those guys must have the best job in the world. I would say that if these wanted to hack encrypted TV it would be no problem.
IF I was young again I think I would join the army and ask to be sent to communications. ( Please god give me back 15 years )
